We stay in North London for the next in our series of looks at streaming services that reward London’s indie venues with a trip to the historic Phoenix Cinema.

Phoenix Cinema is one of a clutch of historic London screen venues that take you back in time simply by stepping into their auditoriums. That these glorious venues remain dark is both an understandable and undeniable sadness as the COVID-19 shutdown continues. We might hear more news of when England will be opening back up next week, but it doesn’t look like hospitality and leisure will be very high on the list…

Until they can start selling tickets again for public screenings, venues like Phoenix need as much audience support as they can get. So, why not stream a new(ish) release and settle back into the comfort of your sofa knowing that your cash is directly helping the venue and their global partners? If this doesn’t work for you, we’ve also published an A-Z directory of venues with ways you can support them from a safe social distance.

Scroll down for details of the films that are streaming from Phoenix Cinema right now.
