  • The Machine That Kills Bad People is a bi-monthly film club programmed by Erika Balsom, Beatrice Gibson, Maria Palacios Cruz and Ben Rivers. This month’s films are Claire Denis’ NÉNETTE AND BONI (1996) and Mati Diop’s BIG IN VIETNAM (2012).

  • Filipino artist and filmmaker Shireen Seno presents the UK premiere of her award-winning second feature film. Set in the Philippines in the late 1980s, NERVOUS TRANSLATION captures the uncertainty and curiosity of childhood in a strikingly unique way.

  • Timid Long Island skater-girl Camille (Rachelle Vinberg) befriends an all-girl, New York City-based skateboarding crew (the eponymous Skate Kitchen). The confident, independent girl gang help Camille come out of her shell and provide a support system when she falls out with her mother.

  • Part of Architecture On Film: A master at making images speak as a pioneer of the essay film, vanguard filmmaker Harun Farocki’s lifelong interrogation of how the world is constructed, articulated and perceived frequently led him to architecture, finding within the built environment material ripe for deconstruction.
