LISTINGS & DEADLINES [shutdown editions]

During the COVID-19 cinema shutdown, we’re posting about online events, seasons and film festivals in our NOW BOOKING section. Basically, every event gets a post (if we can make it). We will resume regular weekly screen guides and monthly roundups as soon as the pandemic allows.

GENERAL ADMISSION: Please note we primarily list events that are open to the ticket-buying public. That means we don’t tend to promote members’ only exclusives, private events, course-related content or family-only activities. Please read our LISTINGS POLICY for full disclosure about what we do and don’t do here.

Please submit your events by Thursday each week (because that’s our posting day!).


IT’S FREE BUT…

It’s always free to submit your event listings to RADIANT CIRCUS but we ask you to kindly consider making a Pay What You Can donation via PayPal before you submit to help us keep doing what we do. With your help – and the backing of our monthly subscribers! – we will pursue our mission far in the future: to promote & preserve alternative screen culture in London. > Thank you in advance for any support you are able to give.

FESTIVALS & SEASONS

  1. Please email us with details of your film season or festival (or any multiple event programme).
  2. For online events, please include clear instructions about how people can register / join your event.
  3. Please also include links to individual event booking pages so that we can tell people where to go.
  4. Finally, include two or three great images that highlight your film content. All images should be .jpg format and in 16:9 ratio (sized 1920 x 1080 or 1280 x 720 pixels). Please only use film stills (rather than film posters or other publicity materials) without any text or captions contained within them. Have a scroll through our LISTINGS to see how we do things. All images are posted in the spirit of publicity and we assume no ownership of content.
  5. We retain the right to accept/reject/amend/abbreviate your content (normally to make it clear to audiences what’s going on and how they can get involved).
  6. We assume no responsibility for the success of your event (obvs) and apologise in advance for any delays or errors in posting your content (just let us know and we will get any problems sorted asap. We’re very nice…).

ONE-OFF FILM EVENTS

  1. Please use the form below to submit details of your one-off film event.
  2. For online events, please include clear instructions about how people can register / join your event.
  3. Include an image to highlight your film. Images should be .jpg format and in 16:9 ratio (sized 1920 x 1080 or 1280 x 720 pixels). NON-FILM EVENTS (talks & stuff)

  1. We’re trying to expand our coverage of non-film events including talks and other film-related content.
  2. Remember, RADIANT CIRCUS is primarily an audience-facing site and we do not generally cover filmmaking workshops/courses or industry-development/networking activities.
  3. With that in mind, please email us with details of your event including any suitable film images.
  4. The same small print applies (see above…).
