REBEL(S) WITH A CAUSE x2

Bungee Jumping of their Own

You know how it is, you wait for one short season called REBEL(S) WITH A CAUSE and then… London is now blessed with two seasons of films with similar names from similar ends of the change-making gene pool.

First up is REBEL WITH A CAUSE (12 JUL to 12 AUG) at Bertha DocHouse: “five revolutionary stories of women over the last century, from secret agents and soldiers to trailblazing artists”. Everything starts with NAILA AND THE UPRISING + Q&A with executive producer Suhad Babaa (12 JUL 18:30).

Then, Korean Film Festival has announced a new strand of their year-round programme of free Korean Film Nights at the Korean Cultural Centre. REBELS WITH A CAUSE (19 JUL to 02 AUG) focusses on “determined individuals who have defied the cultural norms of their time, foreshadowing a new direction for Korean society.”
