SEPTEMBER 2022: What’s on in London this month

Explore what’s on in London this month with our regular epic roundup of repertory film seasons & festivals.

#QueerHorrorNights presents a very special event at the historic Rio Cinema – our Halloween Monsters Ball: NIGHTBREED (28 OCT 22:00+).

These pages are normally devoted to film content intended for the cinema, but I’ve chosen two new seasons devoted to the small screen as my Featured Attractions of the Month. Partly for personal reasons – this is the TV landscape I grew up with – but also because our vital public service broadcasting is currently under threat. Both seasons illustrate something of what we might lose.
