RADIANT CIRCUS exists to help Londoners discover the city’s rich alternative cinema scene. We started blogging as new arrivals in the city, unable to find what’s on. Two years later, we can’t stop.

Released to no critical acclaim at all, and largely ignored by the internet, our first micro-movie celebrated London’s independent cinema venues. We had such a great time making it, we thought we’d release another.

Our second mini-masterpiece (we’re pretty sure our Mums will describe it that way when they see it…) celebrates the array of cult offerings to be found across London’s independent cinema scene from 60s, 70s & 80s horror promoters like World Wide Weird! to purveyors of classic double bills like Regent Street Cinema.

You can find more of our recommendations in the first of a new series of regular… screen guides, Regular late night movies, double bills, cults & (not so…) classics. In this series we’ll be looking at the reliable places (weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual events rather than one-off shows), so you always know where to find your next film fix.
