New streaming season SICK, TIRED, & ANGRY – UNITE! is presented by mental health/care activists Other Ways To Care. The series of four online events streams in support of current action taking place in and around colleges and university sites in the United Kingdom.

The organisers are standing in solidarity with students, staff and surrounding communities who have “long fought neoliberal managerial policies in higher education. We stand alongside rent strikes, in-house campaigns, industrial action, ASOS, marking boycotts, occupations.”

The series of films is intended to open up space for conversations about the stresses on students and workers in and the communities around higher education and includes titles that reflect those themes. Other Ways To Care say this of their events:

These are places to coalesce, vegetate, zone in, maintain, trace the shape of this moment and advance our shared fights and those we join in solidarity.

RADIANT CIRCUS is powered by monthly subscribers. 40% of fees now directly supports indie cinema events across London.

The indie screen culture we love has taken a battering. Coronavirus has closed venues, silenced exhibitors & isolated audiences.

To help reanimate movies beyond the mainstream, we’ve relaunched our subscription service as a crowdfunder called REVIVE THE DARK. With the backing of enough subscribers we will be able to:

  • Sponsor DIY, indie & alternative cinema
  • Celebrate outstanding acts of exhibition
  • Expand our scene content & coverage
