Living with her sister Frances and her sister’s husband Don, Karen’s loosening grip on reality begins to put a strain on their marriage. When Karen hears that the couple plan to have her committed to an asylum, she runs away to the beach – where her worsening mental state combined with an insatable sex drive leads to a bloodlust beyond compare!”

“Roberta Findlay plays tribute to Repulsion in illustrious sexplotation style, as A Woman’s Torment spans genres to create probably the best slasher-cum-melodrama-cum-sexplotation ever made! The rarely screened film features a soundtrack by Walter Sear (Let’s Scare Jessica To Death), as well as a performance from famed hardcore actress Jennifer Jordan.”

“A Woman’s Torment was originally released with an X certification, and contains scenes of a hardcore sexual nature. The Rio was once a porn cinema, and this screening is partly a tribute to this heritage, although ‘active participation’ is not encouraged. Please bear this in mind in regards to the film’s content!
