Fresh from our coverage of their London Short Film Festival screenings (25 to 28 JUN), Catford Mews has launched their reopening week programme (from 21 MAY 2021)!

Sitting here blogging about venue reopening is enough to get you shaking in your boots at the potential cost of it all (after all those lockdown months spent hoarding ticket money…), which makes news about venues like Catford Mews‘ reopening even sweeter: full price tickets cost from £7.50 and there are plenty of discounts for members, seniors, families and students.

Open for food service from 17 MAY, the cinema programme resumes with an F-Rated crowd-pleaser in the form of Patty Jenkins’ 2020 sequel, WONDER WOMAN 1984 (daily to 27 MAY), rapidly followed by: JUDAS & THE BLACK MESSIAH d. Shaka King, 2021 (daily to 27 MAY); NOMADLAND d. Chloé Zhao, 2020 (daily to 27 MAY); SOUND OF METAL d. Darius Marder, 2020 (daily to 27 MAY); and, POLY STYRENE: I AM A CLICHÉ d. Celeste Bell & Paul Sng, 2021 (daily to 27 MAY – main featured image).

Looking a little further ahead, this lineup is followed by SURGE d. Aneil Karia, 2020 and FIRST COW d. Kelly Reichardt, 2019 (both from 29 MAY). Check venue for full dates and details.
