EFN Short Film Festival returns 19 to 23 SEP 2022 at The Garden Cinema & Online
EFN Short Film Festival (which started life as the Emerging Filmmakers Night!) is a BIFA qualifying international festival that showcases, educates and promotes emerging filmmakers.

EFN Short Film Festival returns 19 to 23 SEP 2022 at The Garden Cinema and online with a busy 5 day programme of events, starting with two programmes of film screenings, leading up to the annual Awards Night, and then ending with two workshops for filmmakers.
UPDATE: Due to arrangements for the Queen’s funeral and their likely impact on travel plans, the Accessibility: Barriers & Solutions event has now been postponed from 19 SEP. New date TBC.
FESTIVAL PROGRAMME

- Awards Night – Films in Competition (21 SEP 19:30).
- WORKSHOP: Finding Your Story (22 SEP 18:00 – online).
- WORKSHOP: The Life Of Your Short Film – REDUX (23 SEP 18:00).
AWARDS NIGHT
On Sept 21 at the Garden Cinema, 2022 EFN Short Film Festival Awards Night will screen a programme of UK and International films, followed by Q&As with the filmmakers.
Presented by comedian Mike Sheer and EFN Artistic Director Erifili Missiou expect a fun and inquisitive tone! Selected films are up for TWO AWARDS on the night:
- The Audience Favourite: Voted by the audience present on the night.
- The Critics’ Choice: Given to the film chosen by a Jury Panel of film experts who will also provide feedback on the night.
The screening will be supported by HOH subtitles and a BSL Interpreter during the panel discussion.
