Narrated by O’Connor herself, as well as her friends, colleagues, and admirers, Kathryn Ferguson’s documentary combines poetic recreation with sharp-tongued archival interviews, to paint an authoritative, richly cinematic portrait of a woman whose freedom was found through her own music.
