Kush Films are bringing back the lost art of late night Kung Fu Cinema with their second night of mayhem at Genesis Cinema (26 NOV 20:30+).

Watch old school Kung Fu Cinema on the big screen and enjoy gaming, DJs and film clips in Bar Paragon beforehand. Kush Films returns for their second event with the restored 2K Joseph Kuo classic THE 7 GRANDMASTERS (1977) and an award-winning short film, BLACK SALT (2018).

THE 7 GRANDMASTERS d. Joseph Kuo, 1977:

  • An ageing Kung Fu master sets out on a journey to test his incredible fighting skills against other masters for one last time before retiring from the fight forever. Along the way, a young rascal persuades the old master to accept him as his final student. The young man excels, and quickly becomes proficient in Kung Fu. He then delivers a shocking challenge that reveals a dark, deadly secret.

BLACK SALT d. Ben Ramsey, 2018:

  • With only four days left the clock ticks down towards a new world holocaust. The only thing standing in its path is Interpol’s deadliest black-ops agent, Samuel Tharpe. Sam hunts down the path of a game-changing weapon of mass destruction called the Exterminatus. He follows hot on its trail deep into the ancient land of China where he must seek aid from the Abbot at the Shaolin Temple.
