Last Frame Club’s Queer Fest returns to East London (13 to 16 JUL 2023)
Last Frame Club is back with their 4th edition of Queer Fest from Thursday 13th to Sunday 16th July. You can catch shorts, features and workshops at various venues across East London.

Last Frame Club is back with their 4th edition of Queer Fest. From Thursday 13th to Sunday 16th July you can catch programmes of shorts, features and workshops at various venues across East London.
The festival kicks off with a special Queer Horror Nights ‘draw-along’ screening of THE BABADOOK in collaboration with Queer Art Club at Filly Brook (13 JUL 19:00).
On Friday 14th, catch Saim Sadiq’s JOYLAND at Good Shepherd Studios (14 JUL 18:30) and OTHERNESS by Alba Cros Pellisé and Nora Haddad Casadevall in its UK premiere at Genesis Cinema (14 JUL 21:00).
Saturday 15th is full on with a Pop-up Book Making Workshop with Queer Art Club inspired by THE BABADOOK (15 JUL 14:00). There’s a very special screening of DESERT HEARTS hosted by Loose Willis at Genesis Cinema (15 JUL 18:25) and Token Homo’s Bar Trash finishes off the night with a selection of experimental shorts from Kenneth Anger’s Magick Lantern Cycle in Genesis Cinema’s Bar Paragon (15 JUL 21:00).
On Sunday the festival heads to Rule Zero in Hackney Wick. You can catch two programmes of In-competition Short Films from queer filmmakers from around the world (16 JUL 11:00 + brunch! & 18:30 followed by closing night drinks!) and/or get yourself involved in an immersive Drag Workshop with Loose Willis to find your very own drag persona (16 JUL 14:00).
