- The Short List – showcase for emerging filmmakers
- 05 SEP 2022 // 20:30 // The Cinema in the Arches // London SW11 8AB
- Tickets: £5.00 // BOOKING NOW!
Once every two months, The Short List will be screening 90 minutes’ worth of short films in the venue’s Dolby Atmos cinema. The showcase is intended to provide a platform for filmmakers who may not have had an opportunity to get their work theatrically screened, and to provide a space for meeting and networking with likeminded creatives.
The first volume, entitled Girls on Film, will feature eight films centering on complex female narratives. Each volume will have a different theme based on the films selected. Tickets are priced at £5 and are currently on sale on the cinema’s website.
“As a team made up of cinema lovers, we are immensely excited to be pursuing this initiative of screening new works by emerging film makers where they belong – in a cinema! Alongside our accessible pricing of just £5 per ticket, we’re sure The Short List will have a long life ahead!”
Chris Swney, General Manager, The Cinema in the Arches
