The Cinema In The Power Station’s bi-monthly short film showcase returns on July 10th with The Short List Vol 5: Queer Worlds.

The Short List Vol 5: Queer Worlds at The Cinema In The Power Station (10 JUL 20:00).

Following hotly on the back of previous successful volumes the Short List programmers have scoured through hundreds of submissions to bring together a collection of seven wonderful short films from new talent that celebrate queerness in all its forms.

“When selecting films for the Short List we don’t go in with any pre-conceived ideas for themes and let the submissions decide what we’ll be screening. This time around we had a lot of quality submissions but found ourselves routinely drawn to films which explored queer themes and we’re delighted to bring them all together for Vol.5 of our short film showcase. It’s a diverse range of films that celebrate diversity! And we can’t wait for the audience to come along and see them on the big screen.”

Felix Garriock, The Short List Co-Programmer & Duty Manager, The Cinema in the Power Station

The chosen films will be screened in The Arches, a boutique 58-seater, Dolby Atmos installed screen, with drinks and a networking at the bar before & afterwards.
Tickets are priced at £5 and are currently on sale on the cinema’s website.
